Photo of the week: Lake Mapourika

Today’s photo of the week was taken at Ottos/Macdonalds Campsite, an easily accessible campsite at the northern end of Lake Mapourika near Franz Josef.

The campsite is surrounded by Westland Tai Poutini National Park and is a popular spot for travellers and fishermen.

DOC is currently looking for campsite hosts to volunteer for two weeks or more at Ottos/Macdonalds Campsite over the 2016/2017 summer period.

Campsite host tasks include ticket collection, providing information to visitors and cleaning of the facilities.
